Ready, Set, FALL!!

August at Pilot Mountain Peddlers

Today I dropped off a few items to my booth at Peddler's. It was pouring a rain that was not announced by the weather forecasters and after all the days of heat it felt so good.

I was delighted when I walked in the door....Tammy, the owner, had been working her magic. I carried in my stuff and put it down. I couldn't begin to work until I saw every nook and cranny she had decorated. I was entranced. I always am.....she takes the ordinary and not so ordinary and turns it to this angle and that angle adds an eye catcher and I am amazed and I bought. What fun. I must have shopped an hour and then I worked 30 minutes and walked back through to see what I missed seeing on that first round. I only took pictures of my space and the front window. She may want to keep a surprise or two for you.

Pilot Mountain Peddlers

Yesterday I went to Just Plain Country in Walnut Cove, NC and today I grabbed some stuff and headed out in the heat for Pilot Mountain Peddlers in, you guessed it, Pilot Mountain, NC. I took a round cast iron pot (chicken stew days are coming, right?) red enamelware, Longaberger baskets, a chippy old white chair, daisy wreath, etc, etc. Take a look around and see what you think. Some of the pictures once again did not turn out so well:(

Try, Try Again...

I went to Just Plain Country in Walnut Cove, NC and shifted some things around in my areas and added some new items and yes, tried again to get some pictures to show you.

Please come visit me at the shop sometime......over 150 vendors......lots of variety.

Part One....Take Two....

Hello again. I went to Just Plain Country in Walnut Cove today. I put in new batteries and thought I would try once more to get some decent photos to share. I was trying to rearrange my area but it takes so long and after 3 hours I was getting both hot and tired. I had a good time talking to a few customers and the other dealers. If dealers ever quit buying from each other the wheels will come to a screeching halt. We all just love each others stuff and it becomes like a big swap meet with us selling to and buying from one another. We get so tickled just watching ourselves ooh and ahh over each others treasures that we just have to have. We are a fun group of folks. Get to know us.....we appreciate you as our buyers and know we have to have something good in common because you like our "stuff".

And I'm Back.....

I know, I know it has been ages and I was just beginning to "get" downloading pictures and here I am and I don't know if I can still do it.

I'm sharing some pictures from my booths and others at Just Plain Country in Walnut Cove, NC and Primitive Peddlers in Pilot Mountain, NC. I have been hopping trying to keep both of these booths stocked and sales happening.

Enjoy the pictures (they never look very good to me.....I think the booths look a tad better in person but maybe not).
